UTILITIES

The cost of electricity in the Turks & Caicos Islands has always been very expensive. This is further exacerbated by recent global increases in fuel pricing which have put this cost at an all-time high.
All guests are asked to be mindful of their energy consumption and particularly as it relates to Air Conditioning (AC). If you are running the AC, please ensure doors and windows remain closed.
The owner of your vacation rental will cover up to $30.00/day (thirty US Dollars) for electricity consumption. On the last day of this rental, the meter will be read, and any amount over this allowance will be charged to the lessee’s card on file at a rate of $0.60 per KWH.

Beach and Shoreline ConditionsAs with all Caribbean beaches, shoreline conditions may vary throughout the year. Seasonal sargassum seaweed may occasionally wash ashore, with conditions influenced by weather patterns and ocean currents.

House Rules

Smoking, including E-cigarettes and Shisha Pipes, is strictly prohibited inside the property. Any breach of this rule will result in an immediate request for guests to vacate the villa without a refund. A penalty fee of $2,000 will also be charged for deep cleaning and shampoo of all soft furnishings.
Hosting parties and events on the premises is strictly prohibited and will result in eviction.
The Guest is not permitted to move or remove any furniture on the property. This includes indoor & outdoor sofa cushions, which are to remain fixed to the furniture.
To ensure a comfortable stay, Lessee is encouraged to keep sliding doors closed to prevent bugs from entering the Villa.
The Guest is reminded to use only plastic cups and dishes around the pool deck and outdoor dining area.
We are located in a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10pm and 8am noise should be kept to respectful levels.
Due to the septic system, the Guest must only flush toilet paper. Sanitary wipes and female products should not be flushed to prevent plumbing issues.
For emergency services (ambulance, police, fire) please immediately call 911.
- Do not delay if you feel an emergency situation has arisen. State your location as the address on the front page of this guidebook.
- In case of a fire, find the nearest exit point as quickly as possible. Ensure that all persons are accounted for.
- Dial 911 and ask for ‘FIRE’.
- State your location (see the front page of this book).
- Do not attempt to re-enter the building until a Fire Officer states that it is safe to do so.
- Please also notify the Property Manager

TKCA exceeded our expectations! It was our first time in Turks and Caicos. We arrived earlier than planned, but they were so accommodating and allowed us to check in early.
The condo itself was incredible! Beautifully appointed with everything we needed. The extra care, quality and touches rivaled some of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in, 5 star! The bathrooms (especially the showers) were amazing! We had Perrier and Evian waiting for us. The towels, chairs and umbrellas were perfect.
The location was ideal; a short walk to the restaurants and beach.
The service was top notch. They quickly responsed to our questions and made us feel like we were their only client.
We HIGHLY recommend Carpe Diem and TKCA to anyone going to Turks and Caicos!
